Fernando Benitez introduced me to this band, I love the power, density and National identity of the music and the artists behind this. You won't go wrong. Luis Prado

The rhythm section is in a hypnotic groove, the bass with an extraordinary gravely tone anchored in doom, while layered lead guitars dance and interweave in jams reminiscent of a hazy sun-baked Woodstock. Add in some existential lyrics which call to mind Albert Camus' The Stranger (which inspired The Cure's Killing an Arab) and what you get is a superb album. You’re probably gonna want to keep your AOTY checklist handy and mark HDCs debut near the very top. If the downright voluptuous groove going on at the beginning, middle and end of the song Treehugger doesn’t swoon you then perhaps the lustful vocals, swirling psychedelic guitar harmony, or bodacious bass lines will.
